External evaluation of IOM strategic approach to disengagement, disassociation, reintegration and reconciliation

Key Aid Consulting was commissioned by IOM’s Department of Peace and Development Coordination Department of Humanitarian Response and Recovery and managed by the Central Evaluation Division (CED) to conduct the the first external assessment of IOM’s Disengagement, Disassociation, Reintegration and Reconciliation (DDRR) Strategic Approach since its adoption. Covering 2017–2025, it examines the relevance and performance of the DDRR framework across IOM’s global portfolio, with particular focus on the Lake Chad Basin, Iraq and Somalia, and in-depth case studies in Nigeria and Iraq.
