Rapid Reflection on the Scale-up of Cash Coordination for the Türkiye/Syria Earthquake Response

The magnitude of the February 2023 earthquakes on the Türkiye-Syria border and the large use of CVA to respond to the needs of individuals affected by the disaster emphasised the importance of quality cash coordination. CALP commissioned Key Aid Consulting to produce three short papers on the timeliness, effectiveness, inclusivity, transparency and accountability of cash coordination in Türkiye, Northwest Syria and Governement controlled areas of Syria. The papers draw from key informant interviews with key stakeholders, desk review and three round tables bringing together key cash coordination actors in the three contexts.
