CARE - Better Gender Outcomes in Food Assistance through Complementary and Multi-Modal Programing

Key Aid Consulting was comissioned by CARE to undertake research to highlight what promising practices have emerged, within the USAID-BHA funded programs, to maximise gender outcomes when using a combination of modalities to meet food security outcomes. Towards this end, Key Aid Consulting employed a participatory qualitative approach towards the identification of promising practices with the use of a structured desk review, key informant interviews (KIIs), and the Delphi technique to validate and create consensus on findings. Through these methods, Key Aid Consulting developed a final report, a tip sheet in French, Spanish and English as well as four different region-specific webinars which were used to disseminate the final outputs.
