Cash for Protection Consultancy
Cash & Market
The primary goal of this consultancy was to enhance IRC’s utilization and efficacy of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) to achieve protection objectives. Specifically, the focus was on IRC staff’s utilization of CVA within the realms of Child Protection, Women and Protection, and Protection and Rule of Law.
The consultancy had two principal objectives: firstly, to bolster IRC’s current guidance, tools, and evidence base by conducting consultations on the present application and relevance of CVA tools, reviewing pertinent materials to align with IRC and sector best practices, and assisting Technical Assistance (TA) in crafting an evidence Scorecard evaluating CVA’s efficacy across all three areas of Child Protection, Women and Protection, and Protection and Rule of Law.
Secondly, the consultancy aimed to facilitate targeted capacity-building endeavors by evaluating existing training resources and formulating comprehensive training outlines. Additionally, the consultancy aimed to refine IRC’s Programme Implementation Note (PIN) to reflect the organization’s best practices and ensure alignment with sector standards.
