Evaluation of Caritas Venezuela’s CVA Project TENGO II

Key Aid Consulting conducted a formative and sumative evaluation of the project TENGO II in Venezuela. TENGO II was implemented by Caritas Venezuela, with the support of Caritas Germany and Catholic Relief Services (CRS). TENGO II was a Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) project delivering aid through electronic vouchers (TENGO card) or direct transfers to households with malnourished children under 5 and malnourished pregnant women.

The evaluation relied on key informant interviews with members of staff, focus group discussions with beneficiaries in Venezuela and a process mapping workshop with members of staff. The evaluation looked at the relevance, effectiveness, coordination and sustainability of the project.
