M&E Technical Assistance to UNHCR Jordan’s CBI Unit
Learning Lab
The primary objective of the consultancy is to work with the Cash Based Interventions (CBI) Unit on the revision of the Basic Needs Programme M&E framework. This framework will span over three years (as opposed to one year with the current framework) and will contribute to the CBI unit’s capacity to:
- Inform the design of the programme (e.g. targeting, transfer value, duration);
- Report internally to UNHCR and externally to donors, other stakeholders and to refugees;
- Advocate on behalf of refugees’ basic needs.
The consultancy entailed a scoping study of UNHCR Jordan data collection tools (as well as external actors such as WFP), the development of a M&E Framework and the development and implementation of PDM in host communities for 1,300 refugees.
