SEADS Evidence Review for Agriculture Market Systems
Between May and December 2020, Key Aid systematically reviewed evidence on the impact of market-based interventions related to agriculture. It covered rapid onset, slow onset, and complex emergencies in low- and middle-income countries. The review was conducted to ensure that SEADS draws on the best-available evidence on the impacts of emergency agriculture interventions. The approach was desk based, with 1200 documents screened and included in the evidence review if relevant. Each document matching the search results was then screened using an evidence checklist. The evidence review served to inform SEADS learning brief and will feed into upcoming standards.
