Social Protection and Care Systems as Levers for Gender Equality
Cash & Market
Key Aid led a project to explore how social protection systems can better recognise, reduce and redistribute care work, and in doing so advance gender equality. The project brings together global evidence to explain the links between care systems, social protection and women’s economic and social outcomes. The project provides practical insights for policymakers and practitioners to design care-sensitive, gender-transformative social protection systems.
