VenEsperanza – Value for Money Study
Evaluation
The VenEsperanza Emergency Response Consortium (VE) established in 2019 and composed of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Mercy Corps (MC), Save the Children (SC), and World Vision (WV), commissioned a Value for Money study of its emergency multipurpose cash assistance programme (MPCA) to Venezuelan migrant families in Colombia to cover their basic needs. Between 2019 and 2022 the programme reached over 100.000 households. The study objectives were met through a participatory approach. The consultants organised remote budget meetings with the teams of each of the partners to collect the level of effort destined to MPCA, to the programme phases, and on the equity of the programme. In addition the consultants conducted key informant interviews with key stakeholders from each of the partner organisations to collect additional information about the implementation of the programme. The results of the study were presented and discussed in a remote workshop with members of the partner organisations.
