Comparative study of the impact of different cash modalities on gender dynamics and people with disabilities in Syria 2019-2021
Key Aid Consulting led an analysis of cash modalities in order to generate evidence on the comparative effects of different cash modalities on gender dynamics and people with disabilities, and to ensure efficient and gender-aware cash programming within the Syria Joint Response Gender Task Force.
More specifically, the study looked at indicators such as the food consumption score and diversity of diet within the household; expenditure patterns; the level of tension reported within the household; decision making on allocation of resources; self-assessed level of stress for women; and physical, financial and social barriers faced by women and people living with disabilities when accessing the grant.
Commissioned at the beginning of the project cycle, this study allowed the consultants to enhance the baseline, post-distribution monitoring (PDM) and endline survey questionnaires and analyse the data that will be collected during the project cycle by the partners on the ground.
